Flaming Ball issue in Virtual On OT (von254g)

Weirdest thing has been happening when I change the BIOS settings in this and only this revision of Virtual On Oratorio Tangram. A orange ball with a weird flame looking thing in the top left corner covers my screen for over a minute when entering and exiting the bios. Could it be a bad dump? Some text is also garbled in the title screen.
What the heck is this?

A user by the name of Jerry Lee Lewis encountered this bug.

von2 does something weird at boot up, creating lots of rendered objects by transferring data to the Real3D memory. Rendering is probably disabled on the real device when this happens but we don't emulate proper frame triggering yet and Supermodel *always* renders frames whenever there is anything in Real3D RAM.
