I just wanted to thank you here in the forums when I downloaded the latest distrubution today. Gone are the days where I always have to delete the .ini so it does not accidentally overwrite my existing one every update. I actually created a GitHub gist of my custom .ini to serve as back up for when I forget to delete it. Saved me a couple of frustrations.

This may look like a simple change, but it is a significant improvement in user experience. Thanks again!

No prob. Games.xml is still distributed but we can do the same for that file as well. I think it's less pressing because very very few people are editing that.

Didn't even know it was to be edited until Jurassic Park. I remember you had to set it to analog, because Sega had 2 versions of the lightguns or something along those lines.
