My Second PC build

Greetings everyone!! 😊

I've been researching and shopping parts for a New small form factor PC for my Living room. I gathered the list of parts that I want. So here's my specs

CPU AMD 3rd gen Ryzen 7 5700G @ 3.8 Ghz boosts up to 4.6 Ghz
Including a Radeon Vega APU
RAM Crucial pro32GB
SSD Samsung 1TB
MOBO Gigabyte A520I AC Mini ITX
CASE SilverStone SG55b lite Mini ITX

I know Supermodel is GPU bound because of it's level of accuracy with Quad Rendering and the New 3D engine enabled but, I hope it'll work fine. If not, I'll just stick with the Legacy Engine. My first PC build I made 7 years ago still performs very good with my GTX 1060 using the New 3D engine and Quad Rendering. I want to build this PC for Arcade Emulation while my first PC build will be specifically just for digital art and 3D modeling. It'll be a good addition for my Living room along with my Retro consoles and I can hookup my Arcade controllers so I can enjoy in my comfort of my couch to use MAME, Model 2 Emulator, FBneo, Supermodel 3, and Demul just for Naomi and Naomi 2 games. Teknoparrot might not be suitable for my new build because I'm not planning on getting a GPU at the moment

Nice! This should be good. Let us know the frame rates for various configurations of the resolution and rendering options!

I'll be interested to hear how you get on with that setup too FF, my PC's getting on for about 12 years old now (remarkably, it still seems to run absolutely fine) and I'd like to replace it with something that's small form factor, but powerful enough to run current gen games when it eventually dies (not that I have any interest whatsoever in any current gen games).

My 7 year old PC that I built is kinda obsolete especially I have a i5-4670k but, she still gets the job done. Have you ever thought about getting a AMD CPU Mr.T? They actually made great budget CPUs especially the Ryzen ones at a good price for some of the faster CPUs. The Ryzen 7 5700G costs $159 on Amazon and its a good deal

I haven't given it a huge amount of thought to be honest mate, but I've kinda had the little voice in the back of my head saying about AMD GPU's not playing nice with Supermodel.

Happy 2025 BTW!
