Re: Supermodel.ini is now removed!
Didn't even know it was to be edited until Jurassic Park. I remember you had to set it to analog, because Sega had 2 versions of the lightguns or something along those lines.

Re: Emergency Call Ambulance 4 speed trasmission
I directly work with LLMs and they're not particularly accurate when it comes to technical documentation. Make sure to strictly review it's generated output also.

Re: Emergency Call Ambulance 4 speed trasmission
Good idea! GitHub also has Wiki feature that allows you to document the emulator in a more sophisticated fashion using markdown syntax instead of just 1 readme.md file. This can be really leveraged for a modern documentation available for all - https://docs.github.com/en/communities/documenting-your...

@gm_matthew That's a pretty neat config. Hope it's officially documented somewhere in Supermodel's help/readme.

Supermodel.ini is now removed!
Hey Bart, It seems this issue is now resolved: https://github.com/trzy/Supermodel/issues/6 I just wanted to thank you here in the forums when I downloaded the latest distrubution today. Gone are the days where I always have to delete the .ini so it does not accidentally overwrite my existing one eve...

Supermodel - PonMi Edition?
Hey Bart, I've stumbled across these 2 repos: https://github.com/BackPonBeauty/Supermodel3-PonMi https://github.com/BackPonBeauty/Sega-Model-3-UI-for-20240128- Are these different projects with different devs? Doesn't look like it was forked from the trzy repo and I've always used the Sega Model 3 U...

Re: Thinking of shuttering the forums
Hey Bart, If I may, it would be great if GitHub Discussions can be enabled in the repo like flycast does - https://github.com/flyinghead/flycast/discussions Problem with Discord is it doesn't turn up in Google search. GitHub Discussions on the other hand, appear on search engines like StackOverflow ...

Re: PowerPC clock speed now automatically set to board values
A simple solution for people having problems with the UI might be to just use 166MHz as the speed. Have not tested but games should be fine as they all measure clock cycles taken by a frame and are therefore relatively clock speed invariant. 166 is what Step 2.x need anyway and it’s a surplus for t...

Re: PowerPC clock speed now automatically set to board values
This doesn't work. Sega Model 3 UI will just create the same PowerPCFrequency entry again once you open it. Is there any way to get around this issue? Frankly, I only use it once and never open it again. After the initial setup, it's easier for me to directly modify the Supermodel.ini. I use Launch...

Re: PowerPC clock speed now automatically set to board values
Just to note, the latest version of Sega Model 3 UI (04/10/2022) only allows 1 as lowest value.
Users can always manually delete the option from the Supermodel.ini.
Thanks for the announcement, Bart.
